Hi everyone! This sunny day, I would like to be in another place, enjoying the hopes of the new season, but I wonder where? Every time that I want to get away from the routine I think in a quiet place, away from the city. Within my means, I think that a good idea is the beach, because I love sitting on the sand watching the sea. Nevertheless, the place that meets all expectations is the country; every summer with my family we go to a place called “Peor es nada” where is the house of my father’s family. “Peor es nada”, is a very small village with little population, where everyone knows everyone. It is located in the sixth region, just before the border with Curicó. I love this place, because it is very quiet, you can sit under a tree, play cards, swim in the pool, play a sport, and forget about the external. There I watch little TV and there is no internet connection, so you can spend a real vacation. Anyway, each summer, I meet there most of my family members, which is huge, I see a lot of my cousins and we have really nice family meetings.
Now I remember this, I want the summer to arrive quickly! But this year everything will be different, because the house was made of adobe so it was affected by the earthquake, and some parts of it fell, like the dining room. But as the name says “Peor es nada”, and I’m sure that somehow we can enjoy the place anyways, just like every year.
